  Forster Park have recently been congratulated by Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP, for the very high level of progress that children at our school are making.   We were in the top 3% of schools in England for progress between Year 2 and year 6 last academic year.   Well done to all of our children and to our fantastic staff.

• World Book Day- Superheroes!

  World Book Day marked its 20th anniversay this year. The annual celebration of authors, illustrators and reading is marked in more than 100 countries around the world. The event sees kids all over the UK dress as their favourite characters, receive book tokens and take part in the events that schools and community groups run to mark the wonder of reading.

   

  Forster Park celebrated by dressing as superheroes. Chaffinch class (Year 4) in English invented their own superheroes and wrote a brief description of them. They listened to superhero theme tune music to inspire them. They will be writing about their new superhero characters next week and we can’t wait. KAPOW!
